The old city of Taza witnessed, on Friday, November 28th, a painful incident after a man, about forty years old, ended his life inside the basement of his house located on Derb Knawa street.
According to local sources, the deceased had been living in a state of isolation during the last weeks, without knowing the real motives that led him to suicide, pending the outcome of the ongoing investigations. Upon being notified of the incident, elements of the judicial police and local authorities moved to the scene, where the body was examined and a thorough investigation was opened to reveal the circumstances and ملابسات of the incident. The body of the deceased was also transferred to the morgue at the Taza Regional Hospital in order to subject it to a medical autopsy by order of the competent Public Prosecutor's Office.
