On Saturday, November 29, 2025, a general assembly of the Democratic Union of Employees and Workers of the Mohammed V and Kimado hotels in Al Hoceima, affiliated with the Democratic Federation of Labour, was held at the Youth Center in Al Hoceima, to elect the management office of the union. This meeting was held under the supervision of the local union of the Democratic Federation of Labour in Al Hoceima, and in the presence of the regional secretary Soufiane Amzir, along with members of the local union office.
After the opening speech by the administrator, the floor was given to the brother, the regional secretary, who addressed in his intervention the most important organizational developments and current union stakes, followed by a speech by the coordinator of the preparatory committee, in which he reviewed the various stages of preparation for the general assembly. Following that, the basic law of the union was read and discussed extensively before being approved unanimously by those present.
After fulfilling all the organizational conditions, the General Assembly elected the management office of the union, and its formation came as follows:
Secretary General: Fikri Bouzmbo, Vice President: Soufiane Iraqi, Treasurer: Nawfal Qoubi, Vice President: Azzadine Boudali, Rapporteur: Jamal Mrabti, Vice President: Mohamed Mrabti, Advisor: Fatima Aqdari
In conclusion, the local union praised the democratic atmosphere and the high organizational spirit that characterized the work of the meeting, and the sincere fighting spirit that was demonstrated by the female and male fighters of this sector. The union also reiterated its affirmation of continuing joint work and strengthening mobilization to defend rights and gains, and responsibly engaging in all initiatives aimed at developing union performance and serving the workers.
