The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, today, Tuesday, that the weather in general will be relatively cold to cold, accompanied by local frost, in the highlands, the southeast, and the eastern region.
Starting from noon, the atmosphere is expected to become cloudy with rain or rain showers over Tangier, Loukkos, the Rif, the Mediterranean coast, the Gharb region, and Sais, extending during the evening to the High and Middle Atlas mountains, and the north of the eastern region. The sky will also be partly cloudy with scattered rain drops on the Atlantic Ocean plains extending north of Safi. The minimum temperatures will range between minus 04 and 01 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, between 01 and 04 degrees in the Rif, the southeast, and the high plateaus, and between 11 and 18 degrees in the south of the Saharan provinces and near the coasts, and will be between 04 and 10 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom. As for the temperatures during the day, they will witness a slight increase in the east and center of the country, while they will remain unchanged in the rest of the other regions. The sea will be slightly turbulent to rough on the Mediterranean and Strait of Gibraltar fronts, and rough to very rough, then it will become slightly turbulent to rough during the evening between Safi and Tarfaya, and slightly turbulent to rough on the rest of the coasts.
