HIBAPRESS – Mohamed Menflouti
The head of the Settat municipality, "Nadia Fadmi," decided to reopen Mohammed V Street, a section of which was previously cut off, causing an increase in congestion on the level of traffic and movement, and with it, the city witnessed a worrying increase in the number of traffic accidents.
The head of the municipal council said in a call to HIBAPRESS that, given the high pressure on Hassan II Street, and in accordance with the provisions of the urban planning for the city of Settat, it was decided to open Mohammed V Street at the road section linking the Arches building and the Horse roundabout, and that the municipality is currently working on taking the necessary procedural measures in this regard. This, and Mohammed V Street is considered a landmark of the city, with its symbolism in the capital of Chaouia, where a large part of it was cut off by those in charge of local and regional affairs, and converted into a public square, which turned, by the power of fate, into a main complex for those who love to play "dominoes and cards", and a part of it in the midst of darkness took some as a public toilet for urination in the open and in front of everyone's eyes and ears, not to mention the spread of some butterflies and vendors of junk. This, and HIBAPRESS was the first to adopt this problem, and addressed it in newspaper articles and reports earlier.
