HIBAPRESS – Mohamed Menflouti
The Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports announced the publication of the lists of public educational institutions that have obtained the "Pioneering Institution" label, after deliberations of the central committee for awarding the "Pioneering Institution" label, which concluded awarding the "compliance level" to a total of 2415 public educational institutions – batch 2024/2025, including 2214 primary schools and 201 middle schools.
The ministry, in a statement, a copy of which HIBAPRESS obtained, said that this project falls within the framework of implementing the contents of the 2022-2026 roadmap, for a "public school with quality," considering it a structured project that is based on three strategic axes of intervention: the student and the teacher and the institution. It aims, according to a participatory and integrated approach, to establish a new model for the Moroccan school, and to provide the appropriate conditions for learning and adopting effective methods to improve the quality of basic learning and the levels of control over it, which will help to develop and enhance the skills of students and enable them to continue their educational path successfully.
The ministry added that the "Pioneering Institution" label was created by virtue of Decree No. 2.24.144 issued on July 8, 2024, as a mark of excellence and merit, which allows public education institutions involved in the "Pioneering Institutions" model, which aims to achieve quality of education, learning, management and administration, and to improve school life, and raise the level of control over learning, and enhance the openness of learners, as well as reduce the rates of school dropout.
