The coordination of the victims of Idriss Radi in the Gharb region issued a statement expressing its deep concern regarding the absence of those concerned, Idriss Radi and his son, from the investigation session held on Wednesday, December 3rd, before the investigating judge at the Court of Appeal in Kenitra.
The coordination affirmed that it is closely following the developments related to the investigation file, emphasizing the importance of respecting the legal procedure in a case characterized by its sensitivity and the complexity of its elements. The statement explained that the file under investigation relates to a seized car, inside which was a quantity of drugs and a firearm, in addition to documents suspected of being forged, bearing the name of the former president of the regional council. The coordination pointed out that this information raised many questions about the circumstances and details of the case, and the possibility of attempting to involve other parties, which makes the pursuit of justice and its clarification of the facts of great importance. The coordination affirmed in its statement that the failure of Idriss Radi and his son to appear before the investigating judge raises questions about the extent to which those concerned respect the legal procedure, stressing that the judiciary is the only authority authorized to reveal the truth and arrange legal responsibilities. The coordination also renewed its full confidence in the integrity and independence of the judiciary, confirming its continued follow-up of the case and the defense of the rights of the victims, while calling on all parties to adhere to judicial summonses to facilitate the course of justice and ensure the accountability of all those responsible for the violations. The statement reiterated at its conclusion that the case requires careful follow-up, and that the victims place their hopes on the ability of justice to reveal all the circumstances related to the file, and to determine responsibilities according to the law, in a way that guarantees everyone's right to a fair and transparent trial.
