By order of the Commander of the Faithful, King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Higher Scientific Council, the Council will hold its 36th ordinary autumn session on December 12th and 13th in Rabat.
The following is the text of the statement issued by the Higher Scientific Council in this regard: "By order of the Commander of the Faithful, may God protect him, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Higher Scientific Council, and in implementation of the provisions of Royal Decree No. 1.03.300 issued on 2 Rabi' al-Awwal 1425 (April 22, 2004) on the reorganization of the Scientific Councils, as amended and supplemented, in particular the first paragraph of Article Four thereof; and in application of the articles of Royal Decree No. 1.04.231 issued on 7 Muharram 1426 (February 16, 2005) approving the internal regulations of the Higher Scientific Council, in particular Articles Five and Six thereof; and Royal Decree No. 1.23.47 issued on 26 Dhu al-Qi'dah 1444 AH (June 15, 2023) and Royal Decree No. 1.23.48 issued on 26 Dhu al-Qi'dah 1444 AH (June 15, 2023); the Higher Scientific Council will hold its ordinary autumn session (which is the thirty-sixth session) on Friday and Saturday, 21 and 22 Jumada al-Thani 1447 AH / December 12 and 13, 2025 AD, at five o'clock in the afternoon, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Higher Scientific Council in Al Irfane city, Rabat. The Council committees will study the issues on the agenda of the session, which are as follows: – Approval of the annual work program of the Higher Scientific Council and the Scientific Councils (2025 – 2026); – Consideration of the program for commemorating the 15th century anniversary of the birth of the Prophet ﷺ in light of the Royal Message; – Programming of areas of field intervention within the framework of the plan to guide the notification for the season (2025 – 2026), – Reviewing the work of the Fatwa Committee between the two sessions, and its issuance of the Zakat fatwa ordered by His Majesty the Commander of the Faithful, may God protect him; – Following up on the work of the Heritage Investigation Committee and the Studies and Research Committee in the scientific works assigned to them; – Considering the financial management of the budget of the Higher Scientific Council and the Scientific Councils during the fiscal year 2026."
