Morocco will host the Africa Sports Expo 2025, from December 18 to 20 in Casablanca, which is organized on the sidelines of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025, with the participation of 180 exhibitors from 20 countries.
A statement from the organizers highlighted that the economic capital will turn into a meeting point for the African and international sports system, as this edition of the exhibition, held on an area of 15,000 square meters, will witness the participation of 100 lecturers and the organization of approximately 30 promotional meetings scheduled over three days. The same source indicated that the Africa Sports Expo 2025 was designed to be a real meeting place for sports, innovation, and investment, and is already establishing itself as the largest sports exhibition ever organized in Africa, with a clear ambition to keep pace with the profound transformation that the sports sector is witnessing on the continent. In the 2025 edition, France is the guest of honor, expressing the organizers’ desire to strengthen the bridges between the Moroccan, African, and European sports systems. The French delegation will be strongly represented, through 35 exhibitors and more than 40 experts and interveners who will be mobilized throughout the days of the exhibition. A special symposium will also be held under the title “Morocco – France: A distinguished partnership in the service of major sporting events” to embody the depth of this strategic cooperation, especially in the field of sports engineering, the organization of major events, and the transfer of expertise. The statement quoted Mehdi Skouri, General Manager of Stadia and organizer of the Africa Sports Expo 2025, as saying, “The event goes far beyond the framework of a simple professional exhibition, but rather it is an international platform that brings together sports professionals, experts, and enthusiasts of this field to create opportunities and share experiences.” He added, “We are proud to present a major event on the sidelines of the Africa Cup of Nations, where innovation and networking will be at the heart of all activities.” With this ambition, the Africa Sports Expo 2025 seeks to become the structural appointment for African sports, through the intersection of economic challenges, training, infrastructure, technology, entertainment, and governance. The first day will be distinguished by the organization of the “Sports and Career Paths” forum, a real platform for a meeting between young graduates and talent recruiters in the sports sector. This day will also include the announcement ceremony of the winners of the title “Sports Equipment Supplier,” in honor of the prominent industrial actors in African sports. The second day is dedicated to strategic thinking through the “Africa Stadiums & Arenas Forum,” which is an international forum that brings together architects, managers of sports infrastructure, event organizers, public actors, and investors. The day will conclude with the announcement ceremony of the winners in the fourth edition of “Morocco Sports Awards,” which rewards the most performing actors in national sports. As for the last day of the exhibition, it will bring together the “Africa Football Forum” with football officials on the continent to discuss “the levers that will develop African football by 2030.” Visitors will also be able to follow the “Predator Morocco Freestyle Football Championship,” organized by the World Freestyle Football Association, a powerful exhibition stop that combines sports, performance, and urban culture.
