HIBAPRESS – Mohamed Zariouh
In a surprising incident, a "Ryanair" plane was forced to make an emergency landing on the evening of Saturday, December 13th, at Al Aaroui Airport in Nador, after it was en route from Madrid to Tetouan Airport, due to bad weather conditions prevailing in the region.
This incident occurred when the plane had already covered a considerable distance towards its original destination, before making the decision to land in the city of Nador. This incident witnessed a protest from three people who refused to disembark at Al Aaroui Airport, deciding to remain on board the plane in protest against the change of the landing destination to Nador instead of Tetouan. This situation caused a state of tension among the passengers who expressed their dissatisfaction with the situation. Passengers affected by the incident did not hide their dissatisfaction with the decision, and expressed their anger due to the sudden change in the flight path. Some of them indicated that this change greatly affected their plans and led to further delays in their arrival at their destination. For its part, the "Ryanair" company confirmed that this landing was an emergency due to the difficult weather conditions with which it was impossible to continue the flight safely to Tetouan Airport. The company added that it is keen on the safety of passengers first, and that this decision came within the procedures followed to avoid any danger. It is worth noting that this incident raised many questions about the precautionary measures followed by airlines in such circumstances, and how to deal with passengers in such emergency cases.
