The General Directorate of Meteorology expects the unstable weather to continue today, Monday, with moderate to heavy rain accompanied by possible thunderstorms in many regions of the Kingdom, especially in the northern and central plains, the Moroccan countryside, in addition to the Atlas and its neighboring western regions.
The Directorate added that scattered rain will also affect the Souss region, the east, the Mediterranean coast, and the northwest of the Saharan provinces, while snowfall will renew on the High and Middle Atlas Mountains, reflecting the continuation of cold weather during this period. The same source confirmed that the weather will remain cold to relatively cold over the highlands, the southeast, the east of the southern provinces, and the high plateaus, with relatively strong winds near the northern and central Atlantic coasts, which may increase the difficulty of movement in some areas and requires taking precautions and caution.
