Mohamed Menflouti – HIBAPRESS
HIBAPRESS learned from responsible sources that the Regional Directorate of Education in Settat, and all institutions of Hassan I University, have decided to completely suspend studies in all educational institutions in the region tomorrow, Tuesday.
The same sources stated that the move comes in response to the warnings issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology and the authorities, with the aim of taking precautions and taking the necessary preventive measures to reduce the potential risks associated with heavy rain, strong winds, and snowfall that many areas of the Kingdom are experiencing.
Our sources indicated that the decision to suspend studies tomorrow, Tuesday, in all educational institutions in the Settat region, also comes to protect the safety and security of students, educational and administrative staff.
The weather situation in our country was the subject of discussion and analysis by interested parties, experts, and analysts, who agreed that the matter is due to the concentration of an isolated upper air low (Cut-off Low) above the country, accompanied by a clear cold air mass in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
