The International Federation of Football (FIFA) announced today, Tuesday, the selection of the Moroccan player Achraf Hakimi in the ideal formation of the best eleven players of the 2024/2025 football season, during the "The Best" awards ceremony hosted in Doha, Qatar.
Hakimi's selection came in light of his outstanding performances with Paris Saint-Germain last season, where he contributed significantly to the team's crowning with all possible titles in the year, headed by the Champions League, in a season that witnessed a clear dominance of the French club on the ideal formation with the presence of six players from its ranks. The formation announced included Gianluigi Donnarumma in goal, and in the defense line Achraf Hakimi alongside William Pacho, Virgil van Dijk and Nuno Mendes, while the midfield was formed by Cole Palmer, Jude Bellingham, Vitinha and Pedri, while the attack line was led by Lamine Yamal and Ousmane Dembélé, who won the Golden Ball award months ago.
