A Canadair plane to extinguish a fire that broke out in the Médiouna forest in Tangier

On Thursday morning, a fire broke out in the Médiouna forest, in the Jebel el-Kébir area, in the city of Tangier.

According to data obtained by the website “Habris”, civil prevention agents intervened quickly to extinguish the fire that broke out suddenly, and the authorities of Tangier also used “Canadir” planes belonging to the Royal Armed Forces to extinguish it.

Authorities have opened an investigation to find out the cause of the fire, especially since the same area witnessed the outbreak of a huge fire almost years ago.
