Transfers from the Moroccan community abroad are on the rise, and Moroccans in Italy have sent 139 million euros to Morocco in four months.

Transfers from the Moroccan community abroad have become an important figure in the national economy, particularly in terms of foreign currency income, and these transfers have seen a continuous increase since the Covid crisis until today.
Moroccans around the world have maintained their increase in the first months of the current year, which confirms the bond of expatriate Moroccans with their homeland and their loved ones through significant and important financial transfers.
In this context, Moroccans in Italy continued to break records by ranking first in the list of nationalities transferring the most money to their country of residence, sending more than 139 million euros to Morocco in the first four months of 2024. This means that Moroccans in Italy transferred more than 140 billion centimes to their country in a short time, a very significant figure.
According to official Italian data, Moroccans residing in Italy continued to increase their significant financial transfers to their country of origin, with an increase exceeding 3.5 million euros compared to the same period last year.
Moroccans in Italy are not the only ones making significant transfers to this country, as citizens of the Philippines, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nigeria and Senegal are also contributing significantly to the revival of the economies of their home countries in Europe.
