HIBAPRESS – Rabat
Aziz Akhannouch, the head of the National Rally of Independents party, affirmed today, Saturday, in Tangier, that the "Path of Achievements" tour constituted a qualitative station to deepen the understanding of citizens' expectations, highlighting that over 15,000 citizens contributed to expressing their priorities and orientations through the "Insat" digital platform.
Akhannouch clarified, in his speech during the twelfth and final station of the tour in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, that the National Rally of Independents party organized more than 80 meetings across the twelve regions of the Kingdom, in addition to holding mini-consultations that brought together over 800 citizens, within the framework of direct discussions concerning issues that affect the daily lives of Moroccans.
The party leader pointed out that these meetings formed effective mechanisms for listening to different social groups, with a significant presence of civil society actors, and the participation of citizens accustomed to staying away from political work, including women and men belonging to diverse social and spatial fields, whether from rural or urban areas, in addition to a strong participation of youth.
At the level of the territorial discussion tours, Akhannouch confirmed that the party organized over 44 meetings that included 77 urban and rural communities, with the participation of over 3,700 people from elected officials, civil society representatives, and citizens, indicating that the total of these meetings exceeded 500 hours of listening, matched by more than 500 hours of discussion and interaction.
Akhannouch added that the conclusions of the various listening stations, whether through digital platforms or field meetings, showed that citizens confirm that Morocco is moving in the right direction and that their living conditions are gradually improving, while recording the continuation of fundamental challenges, foremost among which is the need to improve the quality and generalization of public services, especially in the health and education sectors, and to accelerate the pace of creating job opportunities, in addition to protecting the purchasing power of citizens.
