The area designated for fans in the space adjacent to the Zellaka stadium in the Moulay Rachid district of Casablanca recorded a noticeable absence of fans until now, amid the rainy weather that the city has been experiencing since the morning hours.
This absence is mainly attributed to the heavy rainfall, which prevented fans from coming to the area designated to watch the African Cup of Nations events, broadcast on giant screens in a number of cities.
The opening ceremony of the African Cup of Nations is expected to begin at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, to be broadcast live in various fan zones across the country.
The opening match, which will bring together the Moroccan national team and the Comoros national team, is also expected to start at eight o'clock in the evening, with anticipation for an increase in the number of fans in the mentioned area with the improvement of weather conditions and the approach of the match time.
