Press reports have indicated that Italian club Napoli have entered the race to sign Moroccan international Sofiane Amrabat, a Fiorentina player, in the ongoing summer transfer window.
According to reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Napoli have already inquired about the possibility of contracting with Amrabat during the current “Summer Mercato”, asking to know the conditions required to conclude the agreement.
Sofiane Amrabat is admired by the new Napoli coach, Antonio Conte, who sees in the genius of the “Atlas Lions” player an opportunity to strengthen the team’s ranks and supports the idea of recruiting him.
Amrabat is not the only midfielder whose name is linked to the possibility of joining Napoli this summer. Other names, such as the Scots Billy Gilmour and Scott McTominay, stand out at the table of the “Partenopean” contract, according to what various media indicate.
Amrabat spent last season on loan from Fiorentina to Manchester United, and observers report that the latter could sign the Moroccan player on a permanent contract this summer.
It is worth noting that Amrabat’s contract with Fiorentina runs until June 30, while his current market value is estimated at 22 million euros, according to data from the global website “Transfer Market”.
