The city of Tiznit witnessed this Wednesday morning the arrival of a new group of illegal African immigrants, who were unloaded from a bus in the middle of the city's neighborhoods, according to a video clip circulating on social media.
Tiznit knows the presence of a large number of African immigrants who are transferred from other cities within Morocco, which has become a subject of wide controversy among the city's residents. Some of them expressed their dissatisfaction with this phenomenon, considering that the continuous increase in the number of immigrants affects daily life. In contrast, others believe that this phenomenon is part of normal social coexistence, and that immigrants are part of the social fabric of the city, while emphasizing the need to find organizational solutions to ensure their smooth integration. Local authorities continue to follow up on the situation, amid demands from residents for more measures to regulate the flow of immigrants and ensure the security and stability of the city, while respecting the rights of the people residing in it.
