HIBAPRESS – A. Muhyawi
Work is still ongoing, this Wednesday evening, in the province of Midelt, to open National Road No. 13 at the road section linking Ait Oufella and Hajjert, until December 24, 2025, following the heavy snowfall that the province has witnessed in recent days.
These interventions fall within the framework of the ongoing efforts to break the isolation of the local population and ensure the safety of road users, especially in light of the difficult climatic conditions that characterize the mountainous areas during the winter, and the resulting accumulation of snow and difficulty in movement.
The competent authorities have mobilized their mechanisms and technical teams to remove snow and restore traffic to normal as soon as possible, while ensuring the safety of this vital road axis that connects the province of Midelt with a number of neighboring areas and constitutes an essential artery for transportation and transport of goods.
In this context, the authorities have called on road users to exercise caution, respect safety instructions, and follow weather reports, while avoiding unnecessary travel during periods of heavy snowfall, in order to avoid any potential risks.
It is worth mentioning that the province of Midelt is witnessing during this time of the year repeated disruptions in traffic on a number of road axes, as a result of snowstorms and low temperatures, which requires continuous interventions to ensure the continuity of movement and the safety of citizens.
