The Refereeing Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed a Moroccan refereeing team to manage the match between the Uganda and Tanzania national teams, as part of the second round of the group stage of the African Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 finals.
This match will be led by Moroccan international referee Jalal Jayed, with the assistance of Zakaria Brinsi and Moustafa Akradad, while the fourth referee's task has been assigned to Moustafa Kachaf. As for the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology, it will be supervised by referee Hamza El Fareq. The Uganda vs Tanzania match is scheduled to take place this Saturday evening, on the pitch of the Al-Barid Stadium in the capital Rabat, starting at half past six in the evening (GMT+1), in a match expected to be decisive in the path of the two teams within the group stage.
