Michel Aoun received Jamal Ahmed Kamal, the President of the Arab Federation for Artificial Intelligence and Programming, at his residence, where an in-depth presentation was made on the reality and prospects of Arab cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence and programming, and the role of these technologies in supporting sustainable development and the knowledge economy.
During the meeting, General Aoun stressed the strategic importance of artificial intelligence as one of the pillars of global technological development, affirming the need to strengthen Arab partnerships in this vital field, and appreciating the role played by the Arab Federation for Artificial Intelligence and Programming in consolidating the culture of innovation and supporting young Arab competencies.
For his part, Jamal Kamal presented to His Excellency General Aoun a copy of his scientific work entitled "Sustainable Development, One of the Pillars of Technological Innovations", where General Aoun praised the content of the book, praising the scientific and intellectual efforts exerted by Dr. Kamal in developing the concepts of artificial intelligence and linking them to comprehensive development.
General Aoun affirmed Lebanon's readiness to actively engage in joint Arab initiatives led by the Federation, contributing to strengthening scientific and technical integration between Arab countries, and benefiting from the available capabilities to develop smart solutions in various sectors.
For his part, Jamal Kamal explained that the Arab Federation for Artificial Intelligence and Programming places at the heart of its priorities the promotion of cooperation and the exchange of experiences between Arab countries, and the building of an integrated Arab system capable of keeping pace with global digital transformations, and achieving sustainable economic and social development.
The Arab Federation for Artificial Intelligence and Programming includes a group of Arab experts, engineers and specialists, and works to support scientific research, develop smart applications, and embrace innovative projects that contribute to consolidating the Arab world's position on the map of modern technology.
