A human skull was found on Saturday evening inside the port of Safi, after currents swept it to float on the waters of the port basin, which mobilized various security services in the city.
According to the available data, the security authorities arrived at the scene immediately after being notified of the incident, where the site was cordoned off and an initial investigation was opened under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office, while elements of the scientific and technical police began inspection procedures and the collection of necessary data.
The skull was transferred to the mortuary to be subjected to the necessary examinations and laboratory tests to identify its owner, while investigations are continuing to reveal the circumstances of its arrival at the port of Safi.
