In a decisive legal round, the legal diplomacy of the artist Haifa Wehbe managed to settle the battle in her favor, after the Administrative Court issued its final word, announcing the invalidity of the decision of the Musicians Syndicate and giving the Lebanese "Don Juana" the green light to return to her audience in Egypt.
The court's ruling was not just the return of an artist to the stage, but was a legal assessment of the course of administrative decisions within the artistic syndicates. The ruling was based on fundamental loopholes in which the syndicate fell, the most prominent of which are:
Exceeding investigative origins: where the ban decision was issued without summoning the artist or listening to her defense, which made it a "truncated" decision legally.
Refuting the charge of "breach": Although the crisis began with a complaint from a production company about "contractual clauses," the defense team presented 5 documents that were sufficient to convince the court that the motives were not purely professional, but were marred by "abuse of power."
The chapters of this drama began last August, when Mustafa Kamel, the musicians' union leader, found himself in a direct confrontation with Haifa Wehbe following production complaints. But lawyer Sherif Hafez succeeded in proving that the ban did not target the interest of the profession, but was an "unjustified restriction" on the artistic activity of a star who has weight in the Egyptian market.
With this victory, the page of administrative disputes is turned, and the owner of "Superwoman" returns to lead the singing scene in Egypt again.
