HIBAPRESS – Abdellatif Baraka
The provincial authorities in the city of Agadir have categorically confirmed that access to Adrar Stadium is only possible through a legal ticket and a fan card, officially denying what was circulated about "free tickets," following the chaos that accompanied the second match last week, and attempts by a number of people to enter the stadium without respecting the procedures in place.
The authorities explained that all fans are required to purchase tickets exclusively through the dedicated electronic portal, with the necessity of presenting the fan card upon entry, warning against following false news and rumors that are being promoted on some social media sites, which contribute to creating confusion and chaos around sports facilities. In a related context, the massive crowd presence to support the Egyptian national team during the last match sparked a wide debate, with a number of followers considering that this crowd enthusiasm should rally around the Moroccan national team, especially in this sensitive stage of the competition, reflecting the spirit of belonging and support for the Atlas Lions as they represent the national football on their home soil. Against the backdrop of the events witnessed around the stadium last week, the provincial authorities in Agadir mobilized their various human and logistical resources, and strengthened security and organizational measures with the aim of addressing all forms of illegal violations, and ensuring that matches pass in a safe and organized atmosphere. In this context, judicial officials were also appointed inside the stadium to follow up on violations and activate punitive procedures against anyone proven to be involved in violating sports and organizational laws, in a step aimed at enshrining respect for the law and preserving public security and the safety of the fans. The authorities concluded their call by emphasizing that the success of sports events is a shared responsibility, requiring public awareness and collective commitment to the laws, ensuring a civilized image for the city of Agadir and its sports stadiums.
