HIBAPRESS – A. Mahyaoui
Despite the sharp drop in temperatures and difficult climatic conditions, the men of the national security, along with the auxiliary forces, civil defense personnel, and local authorities in the city of Sefrou, demonstrated a high professional performance in securing the fans' platform, accompanying the events of the 2025 African Cup of Nations in an atmosphere of discipline and reassurance.
Various security and intervening services have shown great readiness and a high sense of responsibility, by continuously ensuring the safety of citizens and organizing the space allocated to the public, enabling fans to follow the matches in safe conditions, especially the match between the Moroccan national team and its Zambian counterpart today, Monday, despite the severity of the cold and the long hours of field work. These efforts were not limited to the regular security services only, but also included private security guards, technicians supervising sound and image engineering, in addition to the logistical teams that worked behind the scenes with great dedication, contributing to the success of this continental event at the organizational, broadcasting, and technical framing levels. This collective involvement confirms that the success of the African Cup of Nations is not achieved within the green rectangle only, but is the result of an integrated work in which various actors participate, from security, medical, organizational, and media crews, all of whom formed an essential link in ensuring the normal course of the event and conveying it in the best possible image to the public. These field efforts reflect a high national sense of responsibility, and also enhance the image of Morocco as a country capable of hosting and organizing major continental and international sporting events, within a framework of security and stability, and providing the conditions of comfort and safety for the public, whatever the climatic or organizational challenges.
