National Road No. 2, linking Al Hoceima and Imzouren, witnessed a fatal traffic accident last Thursday evening at the level of the Gharar Mosque in the commune of Ait Youssef Ou Ali, as a result of a light car of the "Citroen" type colliding with a motorcycle.
Immediately, elements of civil protection and the Royal Gendarmerie moved to the scene, where they began first aid interventions, organized traffic, and protected road users, especially since the accident coincided with New Year's Eve 2025. The body of the deceased was transported to the morgue at the Mohammed VI Regional Hospital Center in the commune of Ait Youssef Ou Ali. The competent authorities said that an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the accident and all the surrounding conditions and to determine legal responsibilities, with the completion of the administrative and legal procedures adopted in such cases.
