HIBAPRESS
The recent rainfall has revealed the deteriorating condition of a number of main streets connecting residential neighborhoods in the city of Daroua, which is part of the province of Berrechid.
After the rain in Daroua, clear imbalances emerged in the road infrastructure, which affected traffic and the movement of citizens. The residents recorded the transformation of some road sections into pools of water due to poor maintenance and the absence of sustainable drainage solutions, in a situation that, according to them, is repeated with each winter season without effective intervention to address these problems. Local sources considered that this situation reflects the continued suffering of the road infrastructure in the city, in light of the delay in radical repairs from the concerned authorities, which raises questions about the effectiveness of the interventions adopted to improve the urban infrastructure.
