Polish Czeslaw Michniewicz new coach of AS FAR

AS FAR announced on Saturday the appointment of Polish national Czeslaw Michniewicz as coach of the football team.

The Polish coach, who succeeds Tunisian Nasreddine Nabi, has signed a two-year contract with the Military, the club announced on its social networks.

Coach of the Polish national team at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Czeslaw Michniewicz won the Polish championship with Legia Warsaw in the 2020-2021 season and with Zaglebie Lubin in 2006-2007. He also won the Polish Cup with Lech Poznań in the 2003-2004 season.

AS FAR finished the 2023-2024 season in 2nd place in the Botola Pro D1 “Inwi”. The Military also lost in the final of the Throne Cup (2022-2023 season) against Raja Casablanca (2-1).
