In a short period, the Royal Gendarmerie services in the city of Targhist succeeded in identifying the person suspected of being involved in the break-in and vandalism of both the Tabrant Preparatory Secondary School and the student residence. A judicial investigation has been opened under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor's Office, while the person concerned is still at large and security services continue their efforts to arrest him and present him to justice.
This operation falls within the framework of the proactive security approach adopted by the Royal Gendarmerie services, which aims to protect educational institutions and social care homes, and to ensure the safety of students and educational and administrative staff. It is expected that the remaining details and circumstances of this case will be revealed as soon as the suspect is apprehended and the ongoing investigation procedures are completed.
