HIBAPRESS
An Algerian fan sparked a wave of widespread anger and condemnation after appearing in a video urinating in the stands of the Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat, during a match between the Algerian national team and its counterpart from the Democratic Republic of Congo, within the round of 16 of the African Cup of Nations.
The video spread widely on social media platforms, where the fan himself documented this behavior, which was described as disgraceful and unacceptable, as it offends the image of sports fans and is a clear violation of the rules of respect and conduct inside sports facilities, despite the stadium having a large number of toilets. The scene shocked followers, both inside and outside Morocco, especially since the match is taking place within the framework of a continental football event that is supposed to reflect the values of sportsmanship and coexistence between fans. Following the spread of the video, calls have increased for the concerned authorities to intervene to arrest the person in question and take the necessary legal measures against him, in order to deter such behavior that offends sports and Algerian fans alike.
