HIBAPRESS – Mohamed Daher
The residents of Lebanon Street in the Gueliz district of Marrakech are fed up with the daily conflicts that erupt between customers of a bar and restaurant that has turned into a black spot that disturbs the residents and customers of a neighboring hotel, and has turned their lives into an unbearable hell.
The bar-restaurant does not respect the controls stipulated in the license for the sale of alcoholic beverages. All the patrons of this establishment are young Muslims, and alcohol is sold outside the establishment late at night. This space has also become the preferred destination for drug addicts and people wanted by justice.

The newspaper has several videos that document with sound and image what is happening in the vicinity of this bar of quarrels and chaos, the last of which were two cases recorded the day before yesterday, Monday, and last night, Tuesday.

The question raised in light of this rampant chaos in Lebanon Street, the flagrant violation of the law, and the flagrant violation of property and persons, where is the police monitoring of places selling alcoholic beverages belonging to the General Intelligence, which the legislator has placed on its shoulders to monitor violations and excesses and take the necessary deterrent measures?

After multiple complaints that were not positively addressed, the hopes of the residents and merchants of Lebanon Street remain pinned on the security wali of Marrakech, Mohamed Amchichou, who is known for his firmness and competence, and who has shown a positive interaction with the expectations of citizens.
