HM King Mohammed VI, Amir Al-Mouminine, orders the opening of mosques built or having been the subject of reconstruction or restoration work

HM King Mohammed VI, Amir Al-Mouminine, may God help him, was kind enough to order the opening of mosques built or having been the subject of reconstruction or restoration work by the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs.

The number of these Mosques amounts to 43 divided between 17 newly built and 24 restored, including that of Al Koutoubia, which suffered damage during the earthquake. These are also the Mohammed VI Mosque in the city of Abidjan in the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire and the Mohammed VI Mosque in the city of Conakry in the Republic of Guinea.

The reception capacity of all these Mosques amounts to 25,500 faithful, for a total cost of 561.7 MDH.
