Elements of the judicial center of the Royal Gendarmerie in Tamensourt were able, a short while ago this Friday afternoon, to raid a store containing spoiled food products that were intended for consumers.
According to sources of the newspaper, the elements of the judicial center received accurate information about the presence of spoiled food products inside a store in the Moulay Ismail division in the fifth sector of the city of Tamensourt, where it was raided and the goods that were unfit for consumption were seized.
By instructions from the Public Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Marrakesh, the owner of the store was taken to the gendarmerie for the purpose of preparing a report regarding the incident, as well as deepening the investigation to find out the source of the goods.
After that, the seized products were transported in the presence of the services of the National Office of Food Safety "ONSSA" for the purpose of destroying them; while the legal procedures in effect were taken against the owner of the violating commercial store.
