According to the General Directorate of National Meteorology, a heat wave with an “orange” alert level is expected today, Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in several Provinces of the Kingdom, with temperatures varying between 38 and 47°C.
Thus, temperatures ranging between 43 and 47°C are expected in the Provinces of Zagora, Tinghir, Errachidia, Tata, Assa-Zag, Smara, Boujdour, Oued Ed-Dahab and Aousserd.
Hot weather (38-43°C) is reported in the provinces of Figuig, Taourirt, Guercif, Jerada, Boulemane, Azilal, Khouribga, Fquih Ben Salah, Béni-Mellal, Khénifra, Settat, Al Haouz, Youssoufia, Chichaoua, R’hamna, Marrakech, Kalaàt Sraghna, Ouarzazate, Midelt, Essaouira, Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, Taroudant, Guelmim, Tan-Tan and Laayoune.
