HIBAPRESS
Mohamed Abdel Wahab, the brother of the Egyptian artist Sherine Abdel Wahab, came out to express his anger and displeasure at the circulating news about the deterioration of his sister's health and psychological condition.
These statements came via his personal account on "Facebook", coinciding with the spread of news that Sherine was transferred by ambulance to the home of a famous artist to receive the necessary care. Mohamed asked everyone to stop interfering in Sherine's life, saying: "Fear God and leave her alone, and let the people who truly love her help her." He also made sure in his message to thank and defend the artist who hosted Sherine in her home, stressing the depth of friendship and "the companionship" that unites them, indicating that the sincere close ones are the most capable of helping her in her ordeal. Mohamed Abdel Wahab's message was not just a request for privacy, but it included sharp phrases that contained indirect accusations against certain parties. He clearly indicated the presence of a person standing as an obstacle to his sister's recovery, as he wrote: "It is clear who is behind all this, he does not want her to recover, and he does not want anyone to help her." Although Sherine's brother did not mention a specific name, social media pioneers and followers of the crisis immediately linked these words to her ex-husband, the artist Hossam Habib. The followers saw that the reference to the desire for "not recovering" alludes to the negative impact that has always been associated with Hossam Habib's name in Sherine's previous crises, which made social media platforms erupt with analyzes about the identity of the person meant by the phrase "God is sufficient for us, and the best of those on whom to rely" with which he concluded his message. Sherine's brother's statements come at a very sensitive time, as the crisis is no longer just a "family dispute", but has turned into a public opinion issue and appeals to save an exceptional artistic talent. The poet Tamer Hussein had launched an urgent appeal hours before Mohamed Abdel Wahab's post, in which he demanded that the Egyptian state and the concerned authorities intervene immediately to care for Sherine Abdel Wahab and protect her from the health deterioration she has reached. This state of collective anxiety reflects the size of the health and psychological crisis that the Egyptian star is going through, amid hopes from her fans and fans that she will find the real support that will enable her to return once again to her art away from the personal conflicts that have exhausted her energy for years.
