A construction worker died today, Friday, after falling from one of the upper floors of a house under construction in the Bousrama district, belonging to the municipality of Beni Bouayach in the Al Hoceima region.
According to preliminary data, the deceased, 33 years old, was working inside the construction site before losing his balance and falling from a height, sustaining serious injuries that hastened his death, despite being rushed to the regional hospital and attempts to save him. Following notification of the accident, elements of the Civil Protection and local authorities moved to the scene, where the body of the victim was transferred to the morgue at the regional hospital in Al Hoceima, while the competent authorities launched an investigation to determine the circumstances and details of the incident. This tragic accident highlights the problem of safety within construction sites, and the need for strict adherence to preventive measures and the provision of protection for workers, to avoid the repetition of such accidents that claim the lives of breadwinners in silence.
