The General Directorate of Meteorology stated that the weather tomorrow, Wednesday, will be characterized by snowfall over the peaks of the High and Middle Atlas and the Rif Mountains, which are above 2000 meters in altitude.
The weather will also be cold in the Atlas Mountains, and relatively cold in the Rif, the southeast of the country, and the high plateaus.
During the morning, fog will form over the phosphate and diamond plateaus and the north of the desert provinces of the Kingdom.
The General Directorate also expects rain or local thunderstorms in the regions north of Essaouira, the Rif, Sais, the High and Middle Atlas, and the western regions adjacent to them.
The atmosphere will be cloudy with rain over the Mediterranean coast and the north of the Eastern region, while the weather will be partly cloudy with scattered rain in the Souss region and the northwest of the desert provinces of the Kingdom.
It is also expected to record somewhat strong to strong wind gusts in the Eastern region, the Mediterranean front, the Rif, the northern coasts, and the Atlas regions.
The minimum temperatures will range between minus 09 and minus 02 degrees in the High and Middle Atlas Mountains, between 00 and 02 degrees in the Rif and the high plateaus, between 08 and 13 degrees in the south of the country and near the coasts, and between 02 and 08 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom.
As for the temperatures during the day, they will witness a slight increase in the Atlas regions and the east of the Kingdom.
The sea will be rough to very rough on the Mediterranean front and north of Tan-Tan, and slightly rough to rough in the Strait of Gibraltar and south of Tan-Tan.
