The National Group of Doctors Demanding Direct Integration into the Justice Plan has announced its intention to engage in a series of peaceful forms of struggle starting January 2026, protesting what it described as the Ministry of Justice's continued disregard for their demands, despite the issue being raised more than three years ago.
The group clarified, in a news release, that it has undertaken several communication and advocacy initiatives with various political and civil bodies over the past years to raise awareness about the issue of Moroccan doctors, but the file remains stagnant without any official response from the responsible authority. The release confirmed that the demand for direct integration into the Justice Plan is based on clear legal provisions, especially Article 9 of Law No. 16.03, which entitles holders of doctoral degrees to the right of direct integration into the Justice Plan, with exemption from the competition and professional examination, and relying on a three-month training period in a notary's office. In this context, the group expressed its appreciation for the positive interaction shown by some parliamentary groups and various political actors, after, according to the release, doors of dialogue with the Ministry of Justice were closed. The group called on Moroccan doctors to rally around the national coordination and engage in the expected forms of struggle, and it also addressed an appeal to national and local media outlets to cover the planned protest gatherings. It also appealed to political parties, professional unions, and human rights organizations to provide civil support for their cause, while calling on the Head of Government and the Minister responsible for the sector to open an urgent and serious dialogue to find a solution to this file, which it describes as "fair and legitimate." The group concluded its release by emphasizing its adherence to its legal rights and its readiness to continue peaceful struggle until its demand is met.
