The President of the International Federation of Football, Gianni Infantino, announced the signing of an official agreement to create 30 mini-stadiums of the "FIFA Arena" type in Morocco, a step that reflects the advanced position that the Kingdom has come to occupy within the global football system.
Infantino explained that the project falls within FIFA's vision aimed at expanding the base of football practice, especially for the benefit of children and youth, by providing safe and sustainable spaces, considering that investing in local infrastructure is essential for the future development of the game. The FIFA President praised the role played by Fouzi Lekjaa, Mohamed Saad Barada and Mostafa Terrab in the success of the initiative, confirming that the "FIFA Arena" program carries a social and developmental dimension that goes beyond football, and enhances Morocco's position as a model in using sports to serve development.
