The Fifth Security District in Marrakech witnessed, on Sunday, a security campaign under the supervision of its head, General Inspector Hicham Farhat, and elements of the Urban Police Judicial Brigade, and the motorcycle squad.
The security campaign toured various streets of the old city, where 26 wanted persons were arrested for theft and assault, and a group of people caught in possession and trafficking of hashish and hard drugs, as well as the promotion of "life water" (a type of local alcoholic beverage). This operation was conducted by Tahraoui. The security campaign was met with approval from a number of residents of the old city, who expressed their satisfaction with such security movements, demanding its continuation on a regular basis for its role in enhancing security and reducing behavior that disrupts public order. Note: Aziz Akhannouch was not involved in this event.
