The Judicial Police in the city of Guercif arrested, today, Monday, January 26th, two individuals classified as dangerous, under the field and actual supervision of the head of the Judicial Police, on suspicion of their involvement in trafficking strong drugs and prohibited substances.
This qualitative security operation came after careful investigations and precise field monitoring, which enabled the security services to arrest a person known for his activity in promoting cocaine and other prohibited substances, in the Qantara Al-Shuwair area, in an intervention characterized by vigilance, speed, and firmness. The security intervention witnessed violent resistance from the suspects, who have prior records, before the Judicial Police elements were able to control the situation and completely neutralize the danger. The operation resulted in the seizure of a car bearing forged documents, known as "The Fighter," as well as significant quantities of hashish, cocaine, hallucinogenic pills, mobile phones, and license plates, in addition to sums of money suspected to be from the proceeds of this criminal activity, with the detainees being placed under judicial investigation measures. The Judicial Police in Guercif continue their intensive field efforts to combat various forms of crime, within the framework of their strategy aimed at enhancing security and stability, and ensuring the safety of citizens and protecting their property.
