The results of the implementation of the 2025 Finance Law confirm that the Moroccan economy is no longer content with resilience to international fluctuations, but has moved to the stage of "confident growth." This is reflected in the figures revealed by the Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, Fouzi Lekjaa, where the Kingdom was able to achieve a precise balance between agricultural recovery and non-agricultural sectoral dynamics.
Lekjaa said, during the presentation of the aforementioned results in the House of Representatives, that recording a growth of 4.6% in agricultural activity, after a year of contraction, is not just a passing number, but is the fruit of proactive strategies and promising rainfall expectations. What is striking in these results is the "gradual independence" of growth from climate fluctuations; where non-agricultural activities achieved remarkable growth of 4.6%, driven by a boom in the tourism sector, which attracted 20 million tourists, and the recovery of the construction sector with an 8.2% increase in cement sales. On the financial sovereignty level, Morocco recorded, according to the Minister, a record figure in foreign currency reserves, exceeding 440 billion dirhams, which covers more than five and a half months of imports. This flow, resulting from tourism revenues and investments by Moroccans living abroad, strengthens the Kingdom's immunity against external shocks and confirms the attractiveness of the "Moroccan destination" for foreign investments, which reached $5 billion, which puts the country as a rising regional economic pole that combines macro-economic stability and a long-term strategic vision.
