HIBAPRESS – Rabat
The Regional Multi-Service Company of Souss Massa has provided clarifications to the public regarding the processing of customer files in the region, within the framework of its commitment to enlighten users and professional partners and to consolidate the principles of transparency and responsible communication.
The company explained that the management of two vital utilities, such as water and electricity, is carried out according to a precise legal and regulatory system that balances the continuity of service with respect for the procedures in place and the response to users' concerns, indicating that its services continue their daily work despite the constraints associated with the institutional transition phase and the complexity of some accumulated technical files.
Regarding what has been raised about difficulties related to appointment dates or the processing times of some files, the company confirmed that the management of requests is done according to a precise technical program that takes into account the volume of files and the available possibilities, while continuously working to improve the completion times and the quality of reception. It stressed that the processing of files is done without any discrimination between users or professional interveners, and in full respect of the applicable regulatory procedures.
The company also highlighted that the relationship with professionals, especially certified electricians, falls within a clear organizational framework framed by legal provisions and technical procedures aimed at ensuring the safety and quality of electrical installations and protecting users and professionals alike. It explained that the professional accreditation system constitutes an approved organizational mechanism for regulating professional practice according to objective and unified standards, and does not target specific individuals, but rather aims to organize the sector and ensure respect for professional rules.
Regarding the existence of tension, the company reported that cooperation with professional interveners is carried out normally and effectively, and that it has not received any official complaints from professional bodies in this regard. It pointed out that the incident under discussion concerns an isolated individual case, where the person concerned, according to the available data, exceeded the provisions of the agreement framing the professional relationship and assaulted employees at an agency affiliated with the company. Following employee complaints, a fact-finding committee was formed that listened to all parties and studied the evidence based on documented professional and technical data, after which a decision was made to suspend the accreditation of the person concerned for a period of six months, in accordance with the procedures in force and within the organizational powers assigned to the committee, while emphasizing respect for the principles of neutrality and equal opportunities between all professionals.
The company affirmed that this measure falls within a purely professional and organizational context, and is part of the regulation mechanisms aimed at ensuring respect for the rules that frame the relationship between the various stakeholders within the facility, and preserving the quality of service and the safety of users. It also explained that these decisions remain subject to the administrative procedures in force, as is the case with other decisions of a regulatory nature.
The company reiterated its confirmation that the channels of dialogue remain open with the various professional bodies and associations representing electricians, noting that during the recent period several communication meetings were held, which were devoted to discussing the constraints presented and proposing ways to improve coordination, in the interest of the user and preserving the dignity and rights of professionals.
In conclusion of its clarification, the Regional Multi-Service Company of Souss Massa affirmed its continuous commitment to serving users, and adopting a participatory approach with various professional partners, within the framework of mutual respect and adherence to regulatory provisions, in a way that ensures the continuity of the facility and the quality of services provided at the regional level.
