HIBAPRESS – Sports
Renaissance Berkane team will undergo a difficult continental test this Sunday evening when they are hosted by the Egyptian Pyramids, in a strong match hosted by the Air Defense Stadium in Cairo, in the fourth round of the first group of the CAF Champions League.
This match is of particular importance, as it is one of the most prominent summits of the round, in light of the convergence of levels and the ambition of the two teams to secure a qualifying ticket to the next round. The Orange team enters the match at the top of its group with 7 points, benefiting from its positive results in the previous rounds, and its desire to confirm its strong continental presence and continue the path steadily. In contrast, the Egyptian Pyramids are betting on the factors of the ground and the audience in order to achieve a positive result that strengthens its position in the ranking board, and keeps it in the circle of competition for qualification, especially since any stumble may complicate its calculations in the coming rounds. Renaissance Berkane aspires to return with a positive result from Cairo, whether by achieving victory or drawing a point, because of its great impact in getting closer to the next round, in light of the intensification of competition within the group. The match is expected to start at exactly five in the evening (17:00) Moroccan time, and will be broadcast live via beIN Sports HD 2 channel, in addition to the beIN SPORTS CONNECT and TOD platforms.
