The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for Monday, that the weather will be relatively cold over the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, and the high plateaus.
Rain or locally thundery showers are expected to affect the Rif, the Tangier region, Loukkos, Sais, the Atlas, the western plains, the northern and central plains, the phosphate plateaus, and the plain of Al-Mass. Other scattered rains will also fall on the Mediterranean coast, the Souss region, the north of the Oriental region, and near the southern Atlantic coast, as well as snowfall over the High and Middle Atlas Mountains and the Rif. The Directorate expects strong to locally strong wind gusts in the Rif, the Mediterranean coast, the Oriental region, the Atlas, the southeast, and the northern and central plains. Minimum temperatures will range between 00 and 05 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, between 04 and 09 degrees in the Rif, the Sais region, and the high plateaus, and will be between 10 and 16 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom. Daytime temperatures will generally decrease. The sea will be calm to slightly choppy on the Mediterranean coast, slightly choppy to rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, and rough to very rough between Cape Spartel and Tan-Tan, and will be very rough to extremely rough in the morning, and slightly choppy to rough on the rest of the coasts.
