HIBAPRESS – Fez
The Al-Tawhid district in the city of Fez witnessed an unusual incident on Sunday evening, after two people, along with a girl, driving in a car, stormed an Aqiqah ceremony, under circumstances that are still being investigated by the security services.
According to available data, the incident did not result in any deaths or serious injuries, as fate prevented the registration of significant casualties, despite the state of panic caused by the storming among the invitees and the hosts of the ceremony. Upon being informed of the incident, the security services moved quickly, where they were able to arrest the three suspects in a short period, and they were taken to the police headquarters to deepen the investigation and listen to them in official records. The persons concerned were placed under custody measures, under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, pending the completion of the investigation and the disclosure of the circumstances and real backgrounds of the incident. It is expected, according to the same sources, that the detainees will be referred to the judiciary in order to rule on the acts attributed to them, especially after the hosts of the ceremony filed an official complaint on the matter.
