The Beni Ahmed district, belonging to the municipality of Abd al-Ghaia al-Sawahil in the Al Hoceima region, was shaken last Thursday night by a tragic incident that left a deep shock among the residents, after a young man died as a result of a serious injury, following a family dispute that quickly escalated into a serious assault.
According to data collected from local sources, the victim was injured by a knife in one part of his body, which necessitated his rapid transfer to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment, but he passed away before reaching the hospital, affected by the severity of the injury.
Upon being notified of the incident, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie moved to the scene of the accident, where they began field inspection procedures and collected preliminary data related to the incident, as part of the ongoing investigation to determine its precise circumstances and the conditions under which it occurred.
The victim's body was transferred to the morgue at the hospital in order to subject it to a medical examination, in accordance with the instructions of the competent Public Prosecution, in order to determine the exact cause of death, at a time when investigations are still ongoing in order to determine legal responsibilities and take the necessary measures against the suspect.
An incident that brings to the fore the danger of family disputes when they get out of control, and leaves painful human and social effects within the rural environment.
