A fire that broke out today, Saturday July 20 in the afternoon, in a car located on the beach of Agroud, north of the city of Agadir, caused it to completely burn down before firefighters were able to extinguish it.
The newspaper’s sources confirmed that the owner of the car, who was with his family on Agroud beach, north of the city of Agadir, was preparing lunch, as there was no restaurant on the beach.
But as the family waited for the meal, they were surprised when the car caught fire, and their attempts to put out the blaze were unsuccessful, despite help from holidaymakers.
The same sources added that the fire consumed the entire car, before the arrival of firefighters and authorities, who opened an investigation into the incident.
Several beaches north of the city of Agadir are home to families, most of whom cook their own meals. Some use charcoal and others use gas bottles, sometimes because there are no restaurants, or because of the geographical location. High prices in restaurants, if they exist.
