Royal Air Maroc continues to implement its "non-stop flights" development strategy in the northern region of the Kingdom by providing its customers with an extensive and diverse air network connecting Morocco with Europe and the rest of the world.
A statement from Royal Air Maroc explained that after announcing the opening of direct lines connecting Tetouan with Barcelona, Malaga, and Madrid, and Casablanca with Bilbao and Alicante, the company will enhance its offer by launching three new direct and regular lines that will connect Tangier with Malaga, Barcelona, and Madrid, noting that three other regular air lines will be launched to connect Nador with Barcelona, Frankfurt, and Dusseldorf.
The CEO of the company, Hamid Addou, confirmed that "the launch of these new air routes in the north of the Kingdom comes as a complement to the opening of our air base in Tetouan, and to concretely confirm the extent of Royal Air Maroc's commitment to contributing to the tourism radiance of the Kingdom."
He added that these strategic lines towards Europe respond to the increasing demand and interest in air connections, and also contribute to strengthening economic, tourism, and humanitarian exchanges between Morocco and Europe, pointing out that these lines are also part of the development plan aimed at upgrading Royal Air Maroc as a comprehensive and global carrier, as it has a vast network enhanced with direct and non-stop flights.
Thanks to the launch of these new air lines, the company will connect nine Spanish cities (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga, Seville, Las Palmas, Tenerife, Bilbao, and Alicante) with five Moroccan cities (Casablanca, Laayoune, Tangier, Tetouan, and Nador), with a total of more than 80 flights per week.
On the other hand, three German cities (Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, and Munich) will be connected with three Moroccan cities (Casablanca, Nador, and Oujda), with more than 35 flights per week.
This expansion strengthens the position of Royal Air Maroc as a strategic air bridge between Morocco and Europe. This will also contribute significantly to strengthening the connection proposed by Casablanca as an important airport hub, which allows passengers arriving from European destinations to benefit from easy access to the company's vast African and international network.
Flight tickets will be available for sale starting from February 10th on the Royal Air Maroc website, and through the company's call centers, commercial agencies, and the travel agency network.
