The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, arrived today, Friday, in Addis Ababa, to represent His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the 39th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the African Union.
Upon his arrival at Bole International Airport, Akhannouch was received by the Ethiopian Minister of Peace, Mohamed Idris, and the State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Berhanu Tsegaye. He was also greeted by the Ambassador, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the African Union and the Economic Commission for Africa, Mohamed Arouch, along with other figures. The 39th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the African Union will be held on February 14 and 15, under the theme "Ensuring sustainable water availability and safe sanitation systems for achieving the goals of Agenda 2063".
